We've had all our windows and exterior doors replaced and added gutters and love the results. Kevin Kelly helped make sure we got everything we needed ordered and the crews got everything in and treated us with courtesy and respect. Dave went above and beyond on the latest door installation by adding a transition he made between the entryway and ramp so that the wheelchair can easily and safely enter and exit our house.

We did not have that caring and attention to detail with the company that installed the ramp and it meant the world to us, thanks Dave! Will definitely call Kevin when the time comes for any additional exterior work.

My experience was fantastic! They came to my door asking if I might need any repairs to the house, and I had just moved in a few months prior and noticed I needed a new roof. They scheduled Robert out to assess 2 days later. He helped me with financing, color choices, and overall necessary repairs around the chimney. 3 business days later I had a beautiful new roof. The crew was friendly, respectful, and efficient. It looks absolutely fantastic and I am SO pleased. I would recommend for sure.

We bought 2 new patio doors. Our openings were not standard size, so we had to have both of them custom made. Our sales person, MIke Walsh, was very pleasant to work with. He listened to what we wanted. He brought several color, patio styles, and hardware samples for us to choose from. He was very professional, answered all our questions, took his time, and most importantly he was not pushy.

In the end, we got exactly what we were looking for. The patio doors slide so smoothly, and are easy to lock and unlock, unlike our previous ones. We were so happy that when it was time for a new front door we called on him again. We are very pleased with both our purchases.

Noah arrived for his appointment with me on time. He introduced himself and how long he has been with the company and how long the company was in business for. Then asked what I was looking for to have done to my home. I just bought my home and knew for sure it needed new siding and possibly a couple of my windows needed to be replaced. Noah explained the importance of gutters to me and knew at some point I was replacing my driveway.

I've never been through a process like this before and did not even know what to expect. He was able to break it down for me. Answered every question. Was detailed in the warranty and at the end of the appointment I signed up buying new siding all around, a couple of windows, and gutters all around. Noah also explained all my options from color to style and made some suggestions for me, and at the end of it we created a custom design.

He also explained the entire process from beginning to end making sure I truly understood what was being done to my home. The crew that arrived at my home were extremely knowledgeable, polite, quick, and always communicated with me if I was around also confirming some of the extra custom designs. My home looks brand new again and have received so many compliments from neighbors. Thank you so much to Noah, the crew and Custom Remodelers.

I HIGHLY recommend NOT using this company. Never on time and never called to let us know that they'll be late. They sent out a 19-year-old to install our door back in October. He did not install it correctly. Since then, they've been out but have not resolved the problem. Frost was coming through the window, which it's not supposed to. Door hinges were rusting within a month of install, because the used the wrong hinges.

Now we can even close our door easily without force. Big headache in all for what we paid. Company is not returning our phone calls and leaving us on hold. Poor customer service. We spent a lot of money having a new front door and storm door installed and it was all a waste. We will be using Anderson from now on.

Our new custom windows has been the latest showstopper on this block from the neighbors walking- wife and I love the final product! CRI was fast and professional. Not only do the new custom windows look great, they function as they should. From door knocking to a much needed upgrade. My only complaint is the installers forgot a few beads of caulk, and one of the window locks needs a little manual help to lock.

Good news for me is I am a handy man. I would still recommend, in fact, we already have. Noah B worked with us making sure we were well taken care of and our needs would be met with this business. Thanks for showing our home as the example!

I had all the windows in my house replaced. My wife and I are very pleased with the way the whole process played out. We are in the north metro and our sales rep Noah was easy to work with and was able to accommodate our situation. In order to make it more affordable for us He was able to split our house into 3 sections. We did 1 section a year. Very accommodating, Punctual and good quality.

The guys showed up on time and did excellent work on my home and they were polite. Noah sold me the roof and was very attentive to my needs. They had to put all new plywood down on my home because the old wood was bad and installed my roof and plywood in one day and it looks amazing. They cleaned up very well and I've walked around multiple times and haven't seen so much as a nail laying around. Would highly recomend this company.

About 2 weeks ago, a door to door salesman showed up wanting to schedule a time to give us a quote for new siding. We agreed to that and found a time. We are new homeowners and this is something we have thought about, but it isn't something that is currently a priority and we can't afford it at this time. We have since had 2 salesmen come out for different appointments.

While the product seems great, we had told both these salesmen and the door to door salesmen that we aren't interested at this time and can't afford it. This would be something we would consider in the future (like a couple years into the future). I even told them that we wouldn't be looking for at least a couple years. Someone today has now called from their office and insisted on an appointment for tomorrow 02/23.

I said at least 4 different times that it isn't in our budget at this time and we aren't interested currently. We were initially open to a quote, but have decided that this isn't a current priority for us. The product they offer looks great, but the refusal to accept that we aren't currently interested is highly unprofessional. The individual on the phone said that her phone is outgoing only, and she can't touch other phones due to covid so we won't be able to call her back if we wanted an appointment.

Because of that, she scheduled the appointment anyways. Our standing is not going to change- we are new homeowners who have many much more needed projects, student loans, etc. and can't afford to buy aiding at this point. Even with a payment plan, it's like a second mortgage and we can't afford to do that. This company comes off as being friendly and understanding upon initial communications, but becomes more and more pushy with each contact.

Scheduled what I thought was a bid for redoing the siding on my house. The salesman comes in to my house and takes an hour of my time. He insisted it was company policy my wife was there, which wasn't communicated ahead of time. He then spent 30 mins walking through a presentation showing pictures of the company office and owners. Then after an hour starts to get pushy about when we want to do the project, and how we were going to pay. Turns out he was never going to give a bid.

That was going to require him to come out and measure and then come out a third time to present the bid. When I asked if he could just do the bid on the phone he said that wouldn't be possible. After a wasted hour finally asked him to leave. Would not recommend If you efficiently want a project done.

CRI was going door to door in my neighborhood asking homeowners if they'd like any renovations done to their homes. Myself, having just purchased my home and having a few things I wanted done, I agreed to have someone come at a later date to give me a quote on a new window and door. We set up the appointment that day. The day before the appointment I called and spoke to someone and cancelled the appointment due to a work meeting that popped up that I needed to attend.

Someone still showed up at the originally scheduled time and called me during my meeting wondering where I was. Someone else from the office later called (the person I originally spoke with to cancel the appointment) and asked why I wasn't home for the appointment. After explaining myself, they decided not to take ownership of their own mistake saying they did not have any record of any cancellation with me, I however agreed to another appointment as I was still interested in a window and door replacement.

That was Red Flag #1, I should have known better. On the day of the appointment they showed up on time and I was home. They then refused to give me a quote because my wife could not attend the meeting and demanded that I had to reschedule at a time when she'd be available. Their reasoning for this is because "when men make decisions without their wives present, CRI always has to come back and change things after the women complain about the men's poor tastes and decisions." I politely let that comment slide and said I'm perfectly capable of making a decision without my wife present, let's get on with the quote.

They refused and I asked them to leave. That was Red Flag #2. After putting all of that behind me, they are calling me 6 months later asking to schedule an appointment to give me a quote on renovations I'd like to have done in the spring. Red Flag #3. They wasted my time due to their sexist business practice. Imagine if I had a male partner or if I were single without a woman around to help me pick out the color of my door, would they still give me a quote? Probably not.

Someone from CRI rung our doorbell on May 2021. My wife and I were naive new homeowners. We were interested in new gutters but told them right off the bat that we don't want to commit, we just wanted an estimate. They said it was fine and scheduled a meeting with one of their salesman. A few weeks later, their salesman came. He pitched us great deals. Lowered everything by 6,000 if we were to sign everything that day.

It was an unbelievable deal. My wife was a little skeptic, pulled me to the side and said we should have a few more estimates from different places prior to signing. She felt that the sales rep was a little pushy. I didn't feel that at the time and assured her that he seemed like a genuine person. After writings numbers down, we wanted everything to be as low as possible.

We are in the middle of a pandemic, my wife was laid off die to COVID and we just had a newborn. He assured us that they work with many loan vendors, we could get it as low at 98.00 a month and pay more if we can afford it without getting penalized. It sounded great so we went to the bank and downed 10k cash that same day. He said someone will contact us in a few days and our estimated time for our new gutters and new aluminum sub fascia will be finished in about 8-12 weeks.

We were patient and believed that they were just really busy. End of October comes and no one has contacted us since May. My wife contacted the sales rep and he apologized. Said the project manager messed up. A few weeks later, they came. They started changing our gutters but we had rotting wood that was supposed to be changed before gutter installation.

We stopped them, they apologized and left. They left our old gutters in our backyard all summer. Grass died where they placed it. Texted sales rep Noah again and he apologized for the mistake. Supposedly, they were sent to the wrong house with someone's name similar to mine in a different city. Someone supposedly talked to me but I never spoke to a "Jenny." The sub fascia crew finally came after a week and they didn't even remove any rotting wood like promised.

It seem they just placed the aluminum sub fascias over the rotting wood. They left sharp aluminum scraps all over our yard. After a week or so, we got our gutters installed. We aren't gutter specialist but something felt off. It was supposed to go all the way around our house but they left a few gaps on the highest level of my home. Someone was supposed to contact us for a final walk through and no one ever did.

We just received our first bill a few days ago and it's so high. (As much as a car payment.) Now the sales rep is denying #'s promised and we are stuck with a high monthly payment even though we downed half the payment to make sure it won't be high. If I could give this place a 0 star, I would. PLEASE DO NOT BE FOOLED. I never leave reviews but this experience was so bad, I have to warn others.

We had our attic done and there definitely has been a big change in how the house feels now. Jason and Sam were great to work with. Very informative and very nice. We are looking into getting our doors replaced now with them too.

Signed up for replacing a few windows. 3+ months later they never called once. I had to call to find out what was going on. When they called back over a week later, she said 1 window was still not in and she was going to check on it later that day. I asked to call me back with an update. (I was assured when I ordered the windows they would be done before it got cold). 2+ weeks later they call and say my windows are in and they have an opening the next day(today) to install in the morning.

Here it is 11:00, no one has come yet and no call. Try to call there and of course the only person that can help me is helping someone else. Don't use this company. Extremely poor communication and Extremely unprofessional. Waiting to see the quality of the windows.

We worked with Custom Remodelers to replace our front door and sliding glass door. The salesperson was friendly and helped us pick out something that we liked without destroying our budget. The installers were efficient, clean and professional. The doors look amazing, we're very happy! Would have been 5 stars, but it did take nearly 6 months rather than 8 weeks for install. I understand supply constraints, but the communication around the delay was lacking.

A big man in a green shirt knocked on my door. The man said his name was Nick Current that works for CRI. That they work on siding roofing windows and doors. I recently purchased a house, and the house needed a new roof. Before I can do windows, and siding. So, I setup a time with Nick to stop out at noon the following day with both wive and I. Which we would both be home.

He explained to me that they make a special trip, and I told him we would both be here. Then he calls it in, and provides the information I gave to his boss Gene on the other side of the phone. Gene was dead set on ruining the appointment. My wive works from home, but Gene said she had to sit and listen to the presentation. Which is a terrible working model.

People have a life. Gene proceeded to throw Nick under the bus. Which is another terrible working model for their employees. Gene ruined the appointment, and took money out of these mans pockets. I quickly call a different remodeling company, and they accommodated my needs. I felt terrible to the man named Nick Current because your boss does not have your best interest at heart. Keep on smiling!

We signed paperwork with them in May to put windows in our house before the end of October, which was the deadline they created. They instructed us that a salesman would be out in 2 to 3 days to measure and then order. Weeks passed with us reaching out multiple times, finally about a month later someone came out to measure. We were then told that they wouldn't be able to install until end of December. We have tried to call and text our salesman Zac multiple times to discuss the issue with no response.

Product was good (I had a custom-sized, very large sliding glass door installed, ) staff was friendly, the work done was of high quality. But I will say that the communication was not ideal. Some problems that you may run into: was told it would be a 2-day job, the company ended up coming to my house 5 times. Mostly for work that was known ahead of time.

That means that it took 2 months to get from install to finished drywall instead of the week or 2 that I expected. The customer service reps are super nice and very helpful when you get a hold of them, but you might find times when no one answers the phone and all of the "dial __ for ____" numbers in their system send you to the wrong place. Didn't seem like anyone was really talking to each other, as I had to continually remind the workers (whom I assume were subs) that there were other things that needed to be done to pass inspection. Overall, I really like the work done, just took a while to get there.

I completely regret choosing CRI for my home project of 3 doors and 1 small kitchen window. I was told the project would take 2 days and it was scheduled to be complete on Dec 16, 2019. Instead, I had people in my home doing work, or rework, a total of 13 days and the project was completed June 17, 2020 - 6 full months behind schedule. None of the delays were due to issues with my home - every single delay was due to mistakes made by CRI and in one case a product defect.

I have a 3 page timeline of all the mistakes and issue - here are some of the highlights: * Unstained trim and casing were installed around the window- which after 2 months of no resolution from CRI, I ended up staining and finishing myself. Not easy when it's already nailed in place. * Two times my walls were dinged in two places - and even when I pointed it out, they did not offer to fix the dings so I had to repair my walls. * The wrong door was installed at my garage-to-home entry point, thus the project did not pass the first city inspection * The crew scratched the front door they had installed, thus requiring the delay of replacing the door. * The casing around the deck door was not installed tightly - I had to borrow an air-nailer and fix it. * The screen door that was installed had a hole in the screen. * Garbage, nails and debris were left on my deck, in my garage and on my driveway - including a loose razor blade on my garage floor and two nails in my driveway that the city inspector found (thankfully before I drove over them).

There was even trash in my front yard on one occasion. * This project required constant project management by me and calls to CRI to remind them of what still needed fixing. The were often not good about calling back or following through on promises. * Grand finale - they charged me for the project 6 full weeks before it was completed and without a passed city inspection.

The ONLY positive thing I have to say is that the Provia brand of doors they use look nice and a couple of the crew members did seem to care about the disaster my project had become and did seem to prioritize, as they were able, to make it right. Without a doubt this was the worst experience I've ever had with home improvement. I have since done a project with Window Concepts of MN (bathroom work) and it went perfectly. I do not like to complain, but CRI has put me in a position of having to complain about their level of service.
