When I saw the mess left in my neighbors yard after their roof replacement, I dreaded calling a roofer. You can image the surprise and joy I felt when I saw your crew protecting my home and landscaping and the relief when they made sure everything was back to normal before leaving my home.

Normally, I would think of roofers as a type of rough bunch, but your team was so professional. They really put me at ease and did a fantastic job.

They are crooks and if you have your roof done by them, don't expect to have them honor anything! I have read of multiple complaints about them on the better business bureau website and I am not the first person that they have done this to. They didn't even lay the underlayment down in the area where they were supposed to fix the decking! Don't become their next victim!" They are a fraudulent company that cannot and will not own up to its own negligence.

After unsuccessfully contacting them many times he is going to get an attorney to solve the matter at hand, once and for all. If you ever need your roof replaced I urge you to find a different company.

I just have my roof repaired by Mario, they repond quickly the prices are competitive and the work was great. Hope don't need them anytime soon, but hands down, they will be my go to guys. Highly recommended, honest, competitive and professional. I cant ask for more.

My father contracted this company 6 months after they opened their business. They quoted him almost double the price that an established company with At grading from BBB and with professional certified manufacturers installers charged. There was many situations that made us feel uncomfortable and consider them a scam of a company. As this company is franchised I attempted to contact headquarters, although they answered the phone and take in the information no one returns the call.

I recommend to who ever needs a new roof to get a few quotes and to read the contract very carefully especially the cancelation policy. I will give credit that once I was able to speak with the owner, he did behave very elegant and professional and was able to come to a solution when I decided to break the contract.

So after a good search and speaking with about 8 companies I chose Honest Abe Roofing Miami. Ron who was my liaison was phenomenal. Any questions i had he would answer or find out the answer. He allowed me to compare his offer with other companies without him rushing or attempting to force the sale. He showed in writing the assurances he offered. He is a great asset to the company. Jose and the crew did great work from what i can tell.

I just got my new roof installed and I couldn't have asked for a more seamless job with Jose and Roberto. Of course there was debris in the exterior of the house but they cleaned it up before leaving the house. There was a small plant that got ruined and they got me a new one without me having to ask. They are all super responsive and took care of us. Glad I chose them!

Scam. Folks unless you have an obscenely large 6 plus room house, a new metal roof is not going to cost 20k or more. It's not even with all the fancy salesman pitches they throw at you. It's just not. A sales man, not a contractor becomes to your house and runs your credit telling you a new roof is going to cost you what the highest they are told your credit score will qualify you for.

Your going to be paying that "low" monthly payment longer then you will your mortgage. "Honest" abe creepy tom who kept asking about my marriage quoted me 22k. I got a local company with a warranty got me a roof for 7k.

I called the local office and wanted the contractor to look at my rental home in Clinton, IN., for a new roof. I got 3 estimated prices, which one included taking out the chimney, they were more than the price I paid for the home I live in to replace the roof. I called the rep., back and she eventually told me to contact her co worker, Mike. Mike called me and suggested I have my insurance adjuster to meet him at the property and he could point out some damages that he had overlooked.

They did so, and I was given more money for the damage that they agreed upon. I called Mike to ask when I could come in and discuss the final money amount and was given a time, when I went to the appointment, Mike had moved back to Texas and the paper work was lacking. The rep., I spoke with made no sense, so I asked to speak with his supervisor. The supervisor basically told me Mike did me a favor in getting me more money and their company couldn't do the job for that price and they basically don't work for insurance payments and I suggested that Mike said I could make payments on the remainder and the supervisor said they don't want to do that as they never receive their payments. So disappointed in ole "Honest Abe" roofing. To top it off the house leaks and needs the new roof.

All my husband wanted was someone to come over and give am estimate on our roof. 2 hours later, the guy finally left. We didn't have time for a sales pitch, but that is what we got. He was very very pushy. Kept asking why my husband wouldn't sign the contract he had to offer. The guy was wanting to charge us $24,000 for a new roof. The rep kept asking if there were any other companies that we might go with instead of Honest Abe.

He kept putting down any other roofing company. My husband stood his ground and told the rep he would think about it and to give him a couple of days. A couple of days later the rep called and said he had made a mistake and the price was now $19,0000 for a new roof. That still is way too high for a roof. My husband told the rep that we would be going with a another roofing company.

The rep wanted know to which one. My husband told him. And the rep immediately put that other roofing company down. My husband apologized for wasting the rep's time and the rep replied sarcastically, "Yeah, right, " and hung up on him. Do not go with this company. They are not honest and their reps are not very professional.

We had severe roof damage from a storm. Our house is an old Victorian, very tall and steep. We had several companies refuse to do our roof. Honest Abe not only agreed to do the roof, but did so quickly and efficiently. Our roof looks nice! They had the whole roof torn off and replaced in three days (even working through some snow). Tom was the one who came to our house initially and Wade was our project manager.

We did have some expensive landscaping lights damaged. They promised to replace them so hopefully they follow through with that as well. (Thus the four star vs. a five star rating)

I had Honest Abe come to my house to look at some damage we had to our house due to straight line winds. The salesperson was knowledgeable and explained everything easily. We decided to go wth them and had the repair done in 2 days. Would highly recommend.

Overall the job was done very good. The roof looks amazing. The original estimate was not done correctly. I asked the guy to estimate to re-deck the whole house because I was getting financing and wanted to make sure I received enough money. The guy doing the estimate said I only needed about 20 pieces of decking so that's what I got a loan for.

As it turned out I did need all new decking and that increased the estimate by $2500 after I received the loan. The bank had to go back and completely redo the loan. This created a lot of confusion with other issues also and all i got was a "we're sorry" from Honest Abe. I'm sure it was not done intentionally and am VERY happy with the roof and workmanship.

We are in the process of purchasing a home and the inspector informed us we needed to have the roof professionally inspected. We called around and everyone was the same price as far as just looking at the roof ($200). We decided to chose Honest Abe to actually come out and inspect it. We informed them we are trying to purchase this home quickly so we don't have to pay extra in rent.

They promised within 24 hours we would have a report sent to our Realtor and e-mailed to us. Three days passed and still no one has heard or received anything from them. We had to call them three times on the fourth day to get an answer. Finally later in the afternoon (the third call) they had the estimate finished and offered to send the inspection to our Realtor in the mail (taking a few more days to get to them.) We had to drive to Honest Abe and pick it up since they wouldn't e-mail it to us.

The price to replace our roof was $10,000 through Honest Abe. Our bank had three other inspectors come out and estimate the roof. Not one estimate was over $7,000. I'm not saying they are a rip off, I just wasn't pleased with their business. This could be an isolated event, but either way they won't get our business again.
