I had 20 windows installed 10 years ago and I have been trying to get Renewal by Andersen to stand behind their product for the last 7 years. My windows are bowed and do not close properly. I have had numerous phone calls and even a video zoom with them where they tried to claim at first the builder did not properly install the windows, than I even was willing to cut open the wall too prove it, the next line is the brick work around the windows is to close and that is causing the problem.

I had two companies come out and tell me I have the correct amount of space needed around the widows. This is a horrible product, I have requested a full refund / credit and and I would be willing to purchase all new windows that are a quality product from Anderson. I believe there is power in numbers and they should not be allowed to get away with what I believe is ripping of the consumer(s) and would like to talk with others who are having this issue.

I wish I had read some of these reviews before I bought my window! I would never have gotten the darn thing! I understood the total cost of the window was $1782.00 plus financing. Imagine my surprise when upon installation I'm hit with an additional $1782.00! I ordered the window on August 3, 2021. I understood that it would take 8-10 weeks to get the window and get it installed.

That would have put us into mid-October. Finally, November 19, which by the way was the coldest day of the year, it was finally installed and that is when I got hit with the additional $1782.00 cost! The guys that installed it were great, I have no complaint about them! I'm a retiree in my 80s on a fixed income and trying to raise a 16 yr. old great-granddaughter!

It will take the rest of my life to pay for this freaking window. So, my advice is, if you get a window from these people, get EVERYTHING in writing when placing the order! I was sent a survey to do and when I tried to do it and submit it, got a message that the survey had expired! BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK!

If you are thinking this company is the way to go.run. My nightmare began in March 2021. I wanted new patio doors and a new energy efficient front door with a storm door for a total of $21,000. I thought prices were high but the doors were guaranteed, they were going to install. My husband and I are in our 70s. Salesman came down, did cursory measurements then another guy came and took final measurements.

For them to start on my order I had to give $7,000 for them to begin process. Doors get built ready to install its May. Supposed to take 2 days to install, 1 for patio door and 1 for front door. No, took more time, we're unable to use door as it was just sitting in frame Over weekend. Came back finally got door in.oh the latch door handle is broken will have to order new one.

I had already paid the last $14,000. Facing coming off area by side lights, screws were stripped out. Damage to my inside wall where screws are popping out. No damage till they worked on it. We went almost 2 months unable to lock our house. on 8/11/21 came back, fixed strip screws installed new face plate door lock relevelled door and storm door so it would close.

On 8/26/21 installer called to tell me everything was arranged and would get back to me Friday or the following Monday. As of this date 10/7 and at least 5 non returned calls later I have decided this company has NO customer service. Don't use them

Best company I have worked with. Bobby Roach, James Morris, and Aaron Edwards did fantastic. The entire crew did outstanding and left my house cleaner than it was before. These master installers even went out of their way to fill in a few holes on the side of my home to avoid any wasps coming in and nailed down my front steps which were becoming loose.

I went to work with having an old wooden window in my kitchen that was falling apart and I came home to a new bump out crank out window; which is now inspiring me to do a full kitchen remodel to match. I look forward to completing more windows in the near future.

Like other people have stated, Anderson's product quality and installation is probably excellent. But their prices are way too high. I was quoted over $50,000 for 1/3 of my window project. I wound up doing the entire project with top quality vinyl windows for half of that price. In other words I could do my entire project with top-quality vinyl windows three times for the price of one install of Anderson windows. That's crazy.

Horrible Customer Service and Installation. We had our windows replaced in September and from the beginning, the installation was off. We attempted to have Renewal by Andersen come our and conduct a post-inspection but no one came. Finally in December when the temperature in Alaska went down to -25 our home was so cold that we had to leave and stay in a hotel for two days.

We called Renewal by Andersen and told them we are contacting BBB if someone isn't at our home by 1500 that day. Then only then did someone come out and confirmed our suspicions that the window installation was done incorrectly. We were told that someone will contact us to fix the issue. That was two weeks ago. I'm contacting BBB today after submitting this and looking into litigation.

Our home is freezing, windows are frozen and mold is forming around the windows. Very disappointed in Renewal by Andersen after spending over $30,000 on new windows this is how customers are treated.

Wholly hell Batman! I received a mailer that boasted about a 20% discount on windows so I figured why not get a quote? I just bought a house and windows is one of the things I have wanted to do since I began looking at the house. My salesman was super nice but the more he was talking and going through all of these elaborate details I started thinking 'uh oh, this is going to be pricey'. Pricey is right - 68 THOUSAND dollars for 14 windows. Are you out of your f**king minds?!

And my favorite part 'well, we have payment plans' LOL. Well I sure as hell hope so! Of course you also get the scare tactics about how terrible vinyl windows are and how wood windows are OK, I guess, and how the rest of my home ownership experience is going to be terrible unless I have your super duper ahead of the times windows that cost more than the down payment of the house itself. Definitely NOT for me.

If you can't afford about $30k-50k, it's not worth the 4 hour sales appointment, which then results in a ridiculous amount of phone calls to your home and junk mail in your mailbox. I just wish the calls and mail would stop at this point. All deals were pleasant except for the continuous and unwanted follow ups. I would love to have the product installed in my home, but I will not sacrifice my first born for it. Simply, we can't afford it and we don't want to afford it. I would be paying for these windows for way too long. Please stop the follow up calls and mail. Thank you!

A few years ago I ordered my windows and had them put in by a great team. Unfortunately my picture window has been difficult to clean. I have called the company and have had very little success with a response. All of the other windows do not have problems with streaks and smudges. My picture window faces the mountains and I can see all of the marks when the sun is out. I'm very frustrated with the lack of response considering these windows cost a lot of money.

I thought they were a great company until my problem with lack of communication even after sending photos. What happened to the 20 year warranty? Do you stand by your product? I guess not because no one has called back in 3 weeks with help on how I can get my window to not have streaks and smudges.

We invited the Renewal by Anderson professional into our home. He was professional and helpful. When we got to the quote part of the process, I was blown away. In my thinking ten windows at about $400.00 a piece, if I finished them out was a good price. First quote, $40,000.00 some dollars for ten windows if they did all the work. Second quote, $30,000.00 some dollars if I did the trim work myself.

I feel bad for the poor salespersons they have who have to go through prostituting themselves in the hopes of a "big score." I left a message at the Anchorage location. What a bunch of silliness. Hopefully, Alaskans will drum this business out of town.

I was nervous about an early December install of all windows and door, especially with temps hovering near 0, But it went GREAT! And every day, it looked like they hadn't even been there! Just a delight to interact with! And did I say the guarantee on the product is AMAZING, ,,h ard to get that anymore! I would recommend them to anyone, and will call them again!

For 11 windows on our home we got quoted just under $50,000! $1000 per window to paint and trim. The sales man was very rehearsed and corny. The windows are nothing special, if your read how there built and actually look into it Pella and Jeld-Wen windows are the same. We wanted to get a quote on new doors for the exterior, result their doors start out at $3,000, starting out, not including install.

Buy elsewhere. Lowes quote for same Windows, install, two doors, local contractor, $16K. Done in 4 days. When reselling no one cares if they are $50k windows. $50k was is 20% the value of our home. Do some shopping and research on the product your committing to before even considering Anderson.

Paul and Bob were very professional, clean and prompt. Our window installation was quick and easy. They look great! These are premium windows at a premium price with red carpet service from the installers and office staff. The sales pitch is a little long winded and has a "buy today for a big discount" hard sell, but the product and service is A+.

The work that Charlie and Paul completed on my home wasn't without its challenges but they performed in professional and thorough manner. The work was neat and conducted in a way that didn't disrupt things entirely. They created a comfortable atmosphere for my wife and girls by being polite and conversant. One unfortunate item was that one of the windows was incorrectly ordered, and we had to wait for the replacement. Ivon and Mike installed the replacement window and were professional, efficient and clean as well.

Other than that I had no issues with the product or the service provided and would highly recommend. We look forward to completing our residing project next month to properly showcase the windows and really make them look finished. I hope to use Andersen when I replace windows in our basement in the future.

We had a bad experience with the sales/estimate guy which turned me away from wanting to purchase anything from them within the first 10 minutes. You can't rush or pressure people to make an "on-spot" decision for a $20k purchase. No pressure estimate. Not quite. Please work on this.
