Matt was very knowledgable and professional. He was able to get my insurance company to approve the claim for a full roof replacement two times: the first adjuster left the company without turning in his paperwork and we had to do it a second time. Matt walked us through the process and communicated every step of the way. I would highly recommend Perkins Preferred.

Perkins is an outstanding roofing company! They repaired a major leak in my roof. With all the rains in Houston it was very difficult to find a roofer who was willing to do a smaller job. My leak was the result of my builder's poor workmanship. Perkins responded promptly, they repaired my roof, decking and exhaust vent. Matthew the owner pointed out other potential area's that could leak due to rubber caskets around vents degrading in the hot TX sun.
He offered a resonable solution which gives me piece of mind. Perkins is professional, committed to quality workmanship, servicing their customers promptly and competitive priced. You won't be disapointed!

This was by far the most professional roofing company out of all we interviewed. They were very knowledgeable about the insurance process and for that I was grateful. The variety of roof options were awesome. I appreciated the time they took making sure I saw samples of the shingles to make my selection. We were very pleased with Perkins Preferred Roofing. Matt did an excellent job negotiating with my insurance company and getting it approved for hail damage. My previous tries on my own were unsuccessful. The crew repairing the roof were amazing. All 20 guys were organized and definitely experienced. Referred by three of our immediate neighbors with recent experience using Perkins Preferred Roofing & Construction, we made the right choice in selecting Matthew and his team to handle our roof and skylight replacement. Supported by his background as an adjustor, Matthew worked patiently with our uncooperative insurance company to get the roof replacement fully covered through our policy.
Contract development, execution, and close-out were handled in a professional and customer-focused manner. High-grade materials were provided - with the corresponding warranty coverage protecting us into the future. Once the job was authorized and the shingles & skylight selected, the crew (supervised by Coby Hanks) performed a near-miraculous removal of the old roof, decking repairs, installation of the new roof, and replacement of the skylight in less than two days.
The crew was polite, professional, punctual, responsive, courteous, and safety-conscious. They took extra steps to protect our windows, walls, and landscaping from damage. The job finished with a thorough clean-up. The job was completed in Nov'21, and we have been very pleased with the results (shingle color, installation quality, etc.). Perkins is now starting the roof replacement for our next-door-neighbor (this will be the fifth roof replaced by Matthew on our street in the past six months).

Matthew Perkins and his team delivered a quick, fair estimate to replace our 30+ year old roof. He helped us navigate financing and was able to schedule us a fairly quick installation. The work done is excellent and the grounds have been left in better condition than when they arrived. His supervisors are professional and answered any questions I had throughout the installation. This company fix sheet rock in my garage ceiling that path on down from a roof leak. They did an awesome job. They covered everything that was immaculate clean up. They even fixed my garage door which had been broken from when the sheet rock fell down. I highly recommend now and you won't be disappointed.

Reputable family owned company. Matt is professional and transparent about the estimate. He explained the process in detail and dropped off samples to select a color for the roof. The crew showed on time and worked efficiently. They addressed all of my concerns throughout the day and cleaned up afterwards. Good work practices on safety and house keeping. Matt, Cody, and the entire team were great in all respects. They set our expectations on how the process will go, sent a reminder a few days before, came out the day before to prep the work site, and did the work exactly the way they said they would. They put tarps down to protect the plants, they cleaned thoroughly and often, and just did an excellent job. And they offered the best warranty of all the companies we talked with. This is a family-run business I am very happy to recommend!

If I could give Perkins 6 Stars, I would! I called Perkins about a roof leak one afternoon. The crew quickly came out and completed the work right the first time. We have not had any problems since.
