Solar Powered Attic Vent
This is a Fan-Attic Solar Vent, Model 9900 I installed on 5/27/2010. The homeowner was concerned because the fan could no be heard. 7/14/2010 was a full sun day. I found the vent was operating perfectly, moving a significant amount of air even though it is very quiet. I secured a small piece of a plastic to the vent so the air movement was visible from the ground.
